CornerStore Terms
The CornerStore helps TFU members discover community-owned products and services. Each seller remains responsible for their store, products, payments and fulfillment.
Seller responsibility
- Describe products and services accurately and use images the seller owns or is authorized to use.
- State pricing, inventory, shipping, pickup, processing time and return terms before purchase.
- Maintain a working approved payment link and provide buyers with receipts or transaction confirmation.
- Comply with applicable tax, licensing, safety, consumer-protection and shipping requirements.
- Protect customer information and never request passwords or unnecessary sensitive data.
Prohibited listings
Illegal goods, stolen property, weapons offered unlawfully, controlled substances, counterfeit products, exploitative services, fraudulent investments, unsafe products and items that violate another person’s rights are prohibited.
Payments and disputes
Unless a TFU checkout specifically says otherwise, payment is made directly to the seller through the seller’s approved provider. The seller is responsible for refunds, chargebacks, delivery and customer service. TFU may assist communication but is not automatically the merchant of record or guarantor of a transaction.
Review and removal
Storefronts may require approval before going live. TFU may pause or remove stores and listings that are misleading, unsafe, inactive or inconsistent with these terms.
Fees
Any storefront, advertising or platform fee must be disclosed before payment. Final fee schedules will be displayed during enrollment and may be updated with advance notice.
