TRIBETIGHT APP UPDATES

TribeTight Is Becoming a Place to Live Out Loud

A look at this month’s new stories, sharing, messaging, discovery and Family features—and the kind of open community we are building together.

TribeTight is being built for more than announcements and political conversation. Those conversations matter, but they are only one part of who we are. Our people also have birthdays, businesses, music, art, children, victories, questions, jokes, memories, everyday moments and lives worth sharing. We want TribeTight to feel like a place where you can live out loud—in the open, among Family.

This month, we have been working throughout the platform to make that experience feel more natural, expressive and connected. Here is what is changing and what these tools can do for you.

STORIES THAT KEEP FAMILY CLOSE

The Create Story area is being expanded into a familiar, visual story experience. You can see stories created by other members, share a quick photo or video from your day and move through Family updates without leaving the TribeTight home feed. Stories are for the moments that may not need a full post: where you are, what you are building, what made you laugh or what you want your Family to see right now.

MORE WAYS TO REACT AND RESPOND

Posts and media now support a fuller reaction experience, including Like, Love, Sad and Concerned responses. Reactions are grouped so you can quickly understand how the community is receiving a post. Photo and video conversations also keep sharing, reactions and comments close to the media, making it easier to participate without losing what you were viewing.

SHARING THAT FEELS LIKE SOCIAL MEDIA

The sharing window has been rebuilt around the ways people actually share. Members can send a post through TribeTight Messenger, WhatsApp, their Story, a Group or a Family member’s profile, or copy the link. Posts shared from other platforms now appear as recognizable platform cards instead of looking like an unexplained web address. Those shared conversations can still receive TribeTight reactions, comments and shares here.

FAMILY, FAVORITES AND RELATED MEMBERS

We are replacing “Friends” and “Contacts” with “Family,” because that is the voice and purpose of TribeTight. Only members who have accepted a Family request appear in your Family card. Profile connections will show the Family connected to that member, while Related Members will help you discover people through mutual Family.

You can also mark Family members as Favorites. Favorite members are given more weight in your feed, helping their posts appear more often so important people and conversations are easier to keep up with.

A SEARCH THAT LOOKS ACROSS TRIBETIGHT

The search bar is becoming a true platform-wide search. A member search can return that person’s profile as well as their posts, stories, live content and other things they have shared. Topic searches can surface matching people, conversations, Pages and Groups. The goal is to help you find the life and activity of the community—not only names in a directory.

MESSAGING BUILT INTO THE EXPERIENCE

TribeTight Messenger is being shaped into a more complete conversation space, with message counts, direct sharing and clearer access across desktop and mobile. The profile control on desktop now places profile, account and logout actions together. We are also planning for TribeTight Messenger to stand strongly as its own app while remaining connected to the social experience.

LIVES, REELS AND MUSIC

Live video and Reels are part of the direction of TribeTight. Members should be able to broadcast what is happening, create short-form video and express themselves through music. Our planned Moonroof Music connection will allow approved music to be selected for Reels, with artist agreements covering that use and a system designed to recognize and compensate participating artists.

FAMILY BUSINESS AND SMALLER SPONSORED FEATURES

The right side of TribeTight is being organized to keep useful Family information close: requests, birthdays, events, accepted Family contacts and short Family Business updates from across The Family Unites. Sponsored placements are becoming smaller and less disruptive, while still giving approved businesses and initiatives a useful way to reach the community. These ads remain controllable through the TribeTight Admin portal.

A PLATFORM FOR YOUR WHOLE LIFE

TribeTight belongs to the people using it. Share the new business. Post the baby pictures. Celebrate the graduation. Tell us what you cooked. Promote the event. Share the song. Show the trip. Ask for help. Laugh with your Family. Talk about culture, health, faith, love, sports, money, art, politics—or what happened on your block today.

We are working hard because our community deserves the same freedom to be expressive, social and fully human that people seek on every other platform, with tools shaped around our own relationships and future. TribeTight is not being built only as a place to discuss the struggle. It is being built as a place to share the life we are protecting, creating and enjoying together.

Keep using it. Keep telling us what works. Keep reporting what does not. Every story, post, message and suggestion helps us build a platform that is truly for Family.
